The Little Boy Who Lost His Name

One of our favourite gifts from this past Christmas was a special little book, created specifically for Brennen. The Little Boy Who Lost His Name is an amazing, magical, beautiful book, specially printed for every child. It tells the story of a boy who has lost his name and bravely sets off to track down the missing letters. Along the way the child meets lots of weird and wonderful characters, who each give the boy the first letter of their name. At the end, the child realizes that the letters spell his name! The beauty of the book is that each child’s name creates their own special, personalized tale. This book is different from other personalized books we’ve seen because it doesn’t simply tell a story with your child’s name in it. Your child’s name IS the story! The books are beautifully illustrated by Pedro Serapicos and wonderfully written by David Cadji-Newby. Of course, there is also a version for girls: The Little Girl Who Lost Her Name. The website is super charming and very easy to navigate! We really appreciate all the effort and beautiful work that has been put into this book, and highly recommend it for any child!
