The Network Café

The Network Café is a new social enterprise created to provide support to individuals facing barriers to employment. In conjunction with the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing and Homelessness Network (NLHHN), The Network Café is a new community coffee shop where individuals struggling with barriers to enter or re-enter the workforce have an opportunity to establish meaningful employment and work experience.

The Network Café is located at 77 Charter Avenue in Pleasantville, St. John's.

Andrew and Brennen and I went for lunch the other day!

Our lunch was so delicious!! I had the Vegetable Beef Soup with a Turkey Grilled Panini sandwich.
Andrew had the Roasted Pepper and Tomato Soup with a Pulled Pork Quesadilla. YUMMY!!

They have an amazing selection of sandwiches, wraps and grilled breads. Along with their soups and salads, it really is the perfect place for lunch! And their homemade desserts.. I can't even! The day we went there were six varieties of cheesecake (including Bailey's Chocolate and Toffifee), Black Majic Chocolate Cake, Tiramisu and a to-die-for Lemon Meringue Pie, as well as an incredible selection of cookies, squares, pastries and croissants.

We love trying different places to eat, and I'm so happy to have found a new favourite that is close to our neighbourhood. I think we will be regulars!

Stop by The Network Café for lunch (or brunch), and know that your purchase is providing opportunities for individuals who might be facing challenges. Eat well, feel good. It's a win-win.
